FAQ
Q: Do you deliver?
A: Yes, we can deliver for any order over $200. We can deliver anywhere inside San Antonio city limits for a $12.00 fee.
Q: What are your cooking days?
A: We cook every day.
Q: Do I have to order online or can I order over the phone?
A: We are happy to take your order over the phone or answer any questions you may have. Call us at (210) 541-0404.
Q: When can I pick up my food?
A: We are open from 10 am to 7 pm , seven days per week, except for major holidays.
Q: Do I need to order online or can I just come in and select my food directly?
A: Absolutely, you may walk in and buy anytime. We try to keep a full stock of all of our entrees. However, there is no guarantee that all of our selections will be available in each size without ordering ahead. Please place your online order 24 hours in advance so we can have your order waiting for you when you arrive!
Q: What diets do you currently support?
A: We support everything from calorie restricted diets, vegetarian, to low carb and paleo. We strive to make all of our entrees as healthy as possible, while also making them very delicious by only using the freshest, high quality ingredients.
Q: How do I know which size of meal to order?
A: Our meals are meant for one person. The size of the meal is a matter of preference and whatever fits your lifestyle best.
Q: How long do the meals last?
A: The meals will last for 7 days for most entrees, and 4 days for a seafood dish. We also print our expiration dates on the labels. Zedric's meals are made fresh, with no preservatives added.
Q: Can I freeze the meals?
A: We generally don't recommend freezing the meals as all of the ingredients are fresh. However, you can freeze them if you need to and heat them up at a later date to enjoy. We do not recommend freezing the meals for longer than 2 months.
Q: How did Zedric's get it's unusual name?
A: Zedric's is named after our most special and unforgettable character, our grandfather, Zedric Botkin. It also happens to be our Chef/Owner Zach's middle name.
Q: I need more guidance and want to check in with someone on a regular basis- does Zedric's offer nutritional advice?
A: Absolutely! We have a Registered Dietitian on staff who will be happy to meet with you, and follow you on your path to a healthier lifestyle. Call us or click here to contact her directly.
Q: What about family size meals?
A: Call us 24 hours in advance and we'll put together a meal for your family from any of our main entree options. Or, we usually have one or more options available in our display case that we can sell you by the pound when you walk in.
Q: Does Zedric's do catering?
A: Absolutely! We cater meals from sandwich platters to 5 course dinners. We have several full- meal options available for groups of 10 or more. Just ask!
